4. The fire pump station or pump room with standby pump shall be powered by the equipment. If it is difficult to use dual power supply or dual circuit power supply, the internal combustion engine can be used as the power, and the fire pump is directly connected with the power machinery.
5. There shall be no less than two suction pipes of a group of fire pumps. When one of them is damaged, the remaining suction pipes can still pass through all water consumption. For the high-pressure and temporary high-pressure fire water supply system, each fire pump shall have an independent suction pipe. The fire pump should adopt self filling water diversion.
6. The fire pump room shall have at least two outlet pipes directly connected with the annular pipe. When one of the outlet pipes is overhauled, the remaining outlet pipes shall still be able to supply all water consumption. The outlet pipe should be provided with a drain valve for inspection and water test.
